XoxoRickeshia is a lifestyle/women empowerment blog focused on creating a safe space that promotes self-growth, healing and self-love through faith, style & lifestyle topics.

My goal is to write about topics that no one really talks about. The uncomfortable, raw and vulnerable topics. From navigating failures, the rough journey that is your 20s and 30s, to domestic violence.

But I promise it won’t all be heavy.

We’ll discuss faith from a radical perspective, solo dates, and I’ll give you the rundown on style too!

The art of storytelling is complex, yet beautiful. Just like your journey in life.

There are a million other blogs/websites, but it’s so important to me that we have a platform that is a safe space for open hearts.

The goal is for this space to feel like the pages of your diary, because they surely feel like the pages of mine.

My name is Rickeshia and I’m your new internet bestie. In 2016 I started a lifestyle blog while in college (Thestylelush). I majored in Fashion Merchandising, but I’ve always had a deep rooted passion for writing and expressing myself.

Shortly after graduating from Northern Illinois University, I ghosted my blog and traded it in for life experiences and a big girl job in corporate America.

Unbeknownst to me, after realizing I was still unfulfilled in my career, I ended up right back where I started. Fate – is that you?

It is extremely important to me that I’m not one of those “I have it all together and figured out” bloggers.

Over here, life is messy and chaotic honey. But it’s a good time to figure it out.

My goal for XoxoRickeshia is to create a space where you can see yourself throughout these pages, or at least relate to my perspective and experiences. With that being said, I guess we don’t have to just say this is about me, it’s about us. I can’t wait to go on this journey with you bestie!
